Lucy has trained intensely with some of the best in the industry to ensure that she is well equipped with the knowledge and skill to create you realistic eyebrows. She has also spent hours practicing and perfecting her skills both in the training room and in the salon. As apart of her training Lucy has had to pass a number of theory exams with the latest one being her Level 4 assessment. This makes her one of a small number to have this qualification. Alongside this she has had to create an extensive portfolio of work to enable her to pass her assessments and become qualified.
As you would expect Lucy is fully qualified, insured and licensed by Rochdale Council. So you can be confident you are in good and clean hands!
Combination Brow – This is Lucy’s favourite and most popular brow look! Combination brow is a mixture of Microblading and Shading. Hair strokes are added to the brow through Microblading with subtle shading applied to the background of the eyebrow using a machine. This method gives the eyebrows a bit more depth and realism whilst keeping them super natural. The shading can be super light or built up more to give the brows more definition, the great thing about this style is that you can be in control of how much shading you want so they can be as natural or as heavy as you want! This style is perfect if you are used to adding a small amount of makeup to your eyebrows. Your appointment is split into 2 parts. You have your initial treatment, you will then return 6 weeks later where we will tweak the brows, add any lost hair strokes and really perfect your Combination Brow.
All Combination Brow appointments start with a 20 minute consultation. During this appointment we can discuss what look you want and what option is best for you, we will also choose your colour and apply your patch test. During this appointment I will measure your eyebrows and draw them in to give you an idea of what they will look like when they are finished.
Microblading is the most natural form of Semi Permanent Eyebrows. It is perfect for those with little or no eyebrows but is also great for those with a good brow but just want a few extra hair strokes added to give more shape and definition. Microblading involves using a hand tool to deposit pigment into the top layers of the skin. This mimics natural hair strokes and gives the look of realistic eyebrows.

Powder Brow – This look is created by shading pixels into the brow shape using a machine. This creates a borderless appearance with no sharp lines. This can be completely personalised to the look you want – from a natural wash of colour to a more intense brow if you are used to a heavy makeup look. Powder Brow is also a good option if you want to cover up old Semi Permanent Makeup. Powder brows can look darker and more intense to begin with but heal super natural over the 6 week healing period.

Everyone has this worry! Powder brows always look dark and bold to begin with, even with the lighter colours, the immediate result will heal 30% lighter over the next 6 weeks. Powder Brows can be as light and natural as you choose, or as dark and bold as you like!
No, Before the treatment begins the brow area is numbed and also re-numbed numerous times whilst the shading is being done. The needles are super fine so cause minimal discomfort
Powder Brow is a good way of covering up old Semi Permanent Makeup, this being said it depends how much old pigment is still in the skin. Having a consultation with Lucy is the best way to establish which is the best course of action for you and your eyebrows! Please note that prices can vary for cover up work depending on how much work is required.

Believe it or not this is the question I get asked most! The answer is no, to ensure your brows are as natural as possible I try to keep as much natural brow as I can and build your new shape around your brow hairs that are already there. I only remove hairs at the end of the treatment that don’t sit within the shape of your new brows.
Yes of course. If there is no brow hair at all Lucy will spend more time designing and measuring the brow in to make sure it is as symmetrical as it can be. Lucy always recommends starting off more natural on the first appointment and then taking them thicker and darker on the top up appointment if you want to. This allows you to get used to your new eyebrows!
With the correct after care they should last 12 months before needing a colour boost This can vary though depending on skin type. Please follow aftercare.
Keep brows dry for 7 days after treatment.
No makeup on the brows until fully healed.
Avoid swimming for 7 days after treatment
Avoid saunas until fully healed
Brows will go slightly dry and shed during healing. This is normal. Do not pick the dryness off as it will remove pigment.
Once fully healed you must protect brows from the sun. Always wear at least an SPF 15 on your eyebrows on sunny days and on holiday ensure a SPF 30. The sun is the main reason for premature fading.
Ensure you return for your yearly brow colour boost to ensure they stay fresh and the colour correct.
Firstly using a pencil, I will map out exactly where I will add the Microblading to the natural brows. This way you can see exactly what they will look like when they have been done. Once we are both happy with the shape we will then choose which colour pigment I am going to use. I will choose the colour that most closely matches your natural hair colour and skin tone.
